Mr. Fields is an attorney and senior partner with the Raeford law firm of Willcox, McFadyen, Fields & Sutherland. The firm, the oldest law firm in Hoke County, has three attorneys and seven support staff. Mr. Fields graduated from Appalachian State University in 1989 with a bachelor of arts in economics. He received his juris doctorate from Campbell University School of Law in 1992. Mr. Fields has served as Hoke County attorney, City of Raeford attorney, and bar president for Judicial District 16A. He represents several corporate clients in Hoke County. He lives in Raeford with his wife, Wendy, and daughter, Clair.
Mr. Martin serves his church as a deacon and is an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church in America. He has experience in business, finance, government, design, and nonprofit administration. After receiving an education in architecture and city planning, Mr. Martin worked as a city planner and community development program manager for municipalities. He and his wife owned a Christian bookstore for 17 years, and Mr. Martin was president and chief executive officer of a nonprofit small business lender. He has five grandchildren currently attending Sandhills Classical Christian School.
The Rev Dr. John R. Jacobs is the senior pastor of The Village Chapel in Pinehurst, NC. Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, he graduated from the University of the South (Sewanee) with a B.A. in English (and where he met his wife, Betsy), and law school at the University of Memphis. He practiced administrative law in Orlando for seventeen years before receiving an M. Div. and D. Min. at the University of the South. Pastor Jacobs was ordained in the Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida, and has served churches in Deland, Eustis, and Vero Beach, Florida before coming to The Village Chapel. John and Betsy have been married over 30 years and are blessed to be living here near their children: Brouck, a circuit judge in Columbia, MO, and Elizabeth, who is teaching at a private Christian school in Durham.
Jamie Encinosa is the Executive Vice President of Operations for Rhetson Companies located in Moore County. She holds a B.S. degree in Worship and Music Studies and a M.A. degree in Management and Leadership from Liberty University as well as General Contractor licenses in North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. Originally from Maryland, Jamie met her husband Mat while attending Liberty University and moved to Moore County in 2013. Mat serves as Pastor of Worship Ministries at Christ Community Church and they have two children currently enrolled at SCCS.
