Forging a new and better path in education

Sandhills is a classical and Christian school offering preschool through 12th grade. We are distinctly Christian and intentionally Classical in our teaching methodology.

Meet the Students and staff of Sandhills

At Sandhills Classical Christian School, we seek to provide a rich and nourishing environment where all may flourish. The spirit of unity on campus is fostered by parents who are actively involved, caring teachers who love their students and enjoy their work, and a student body that is growing in their understanding of Christ and the world they share together. At Sandhills Classical Christian School, we consider  ourselves an extension of the family… a dynamic community of faith!

The Classical Model

A Three-Stage Approach to Learning

The Grammar Stage

Children from Preschool to 5th grade are adept at memorizing large amounts of information.

The Logic Stage

As a child matures from 6th through 8th grade he/she becomes naturally adept at argument.

The Rhetoric Stage

Students in 9th-12th grades hone their skills of asking questions and questioning answers.

Parent Comments

We are grateful SCCS trains not only children’s minds but more importantly, their hearts. The school’s Christian worldview infuses Christ into every lesson, extending Bible teachings beyond scripture to seeing Christ in action in today’s world
Dustin and Maggie Bonecutter
From an academic standpoint, the students carry themselves remarkably well and are able to articulate their opinions clearly and respectfully. Most importantly, I’ve seen first-hand that the desire to point others to Jesus undergirds all that SCCS does.
Mat Encinosa
Once school started, we realized how much SCCS has to offer. Not only is our daughter getting a rigorous education, but the teachers are wonderful. They are caring, kind, and so engaging with the students. I am consistently blown away with all that she has learned.
