Statement of Faith

Our Foundational Beliefs

The following are the foundational beliefs on which Sandhills Classical Christian School is based:

1. We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the only inerrant, authoritative word of God. The Holy Scriptures given by divine revelation is Genesis through Malachi and Matthew through Revelation.1

2. We believe that there is one God, creator of all things, who is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.2

3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in his bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory. 3

4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary. 4

5. We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone. 5

6. We believe that good works which God ordained us to do are the fruit of true faith. 6

7. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose power the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. 7

8. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they who are saved to the resurrection of life and they who are lost to the resurrection of condemnation. 8

9. We believe in the Church of Christ which consists of all Bible believing Christians around the world.
